back on the coast

What a vacation! Everyone had a great time visiting and it was so wonderful being surrounded by the Adirondacks again. The dance recital was great, as usual, and so was the post-recital barbecue at Melissa and Brian's. I got lots of sun and bug bites, go figure. I also, surprisingly, got a lot of reading in. My stitches came out right after we got there and my hand is healing beautifully. Well, it won't be beautiful once it's all over, but I can use my hand now. My birthday was pretty low key and I received lovely and useful gifts (iron, door mat...jeeze, I must be a housewife). And then today I got my last birthday present from Tanner- an iPod touch! Yay!
